     Lauren Juan has been teaching ballet for over 20 years. She began her studies at Ballet Petit under Peggy Peabody and Darlene Brower, and spent summers dancing with Boston Ballet, Oakland Ballet and San Francisco Ballet. When invited to become a full-time student with San Francisco Ballet, Lauren chose to pursue the path toward college. She attended UC Berkeley on scholarship and went on to earn her teaching credential. She lived in Bangkok, Thailand teaching English to Thai children, and spent 10 years teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade in Bay Area public schools. She is devoted to creating a joyful and uplifting space in her dance studio, and strives to make every student feel safe and seen.
